Trains have been suspended on the Geelong line after a person was hit and killed by a train at North Shore.

The person was struck by a train at 6.50am and died at the scene.
All V/Line train services between Geelong and North Shore have been suspended, and commuters have been advised to make alternative transport arrangements or delay their travel.
Services are still running between Lara and Southern Cross Station, but delays are expected.
Buses are shuttling passengers between Geelong and Lara, and trains are then taking them from Lara to the city.
City-bound commuters at Tarneit and Wyndham Vale stations have been advised to consider catching a Metro train from Werribee.

"We would strongly advise Geelong commuters to defer their travel, or delay," a V/Line spokesman said.
