Police are searching for three teenagers who allegedly bashed a 16-year-old boy at a suburban shopping centre in Melbourne's north.

The Roxburgh Park teen was confronted by the group at Broadmeadows Shopping Centre on Pascoe Vale Road about 1pm on Saturday.
Leading Senior Constable Melissa Seach said one of the offenders hit the victim, causing him to fall to the ground.
"The two other offenders then punched and kicked him to his upper body, before all three fled the scene," Senior Constable Seach said.
The victim suffered a cut to his head and two black eyes, and was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
Police investigating the assault are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
The offenders are thought to be aged between 14 and 17 years old.
Investigators have released CCTV images of the three young men they want to question.
The first teenager was wearing a grey and white camouflage Adidas jumper, black pants and a black cap.
The second was wearing a blue jumper, grey pants and blue Nike shoes.
The third was wearing black pants, a black cap and a black jumper with white stripes.
