Detectives have announced a $100,000 reward for information about an attempted murder in Burnside, in Melbourne's west, last year.

Gym owner Nikolaos Solomos had just parked in the driveway of his Mockridge Avenue home about 5.40pm on May 21 when a masked gunman approached the driver's side of the car.
The gunman fired two shots through the window, narrowly missing Mr Solomos, who escaped with only cuts and bruising from the shattered glass.
The offender then ran back to a waiting car and fled the scene.
Mr Solomos, 32, said he did not know why he was targeted in the shooting, as he had no enemies and had never been subject to threats.
The founder of the Derrimut 24:7 Gym chain, which was promoted by Arnold Schwarznegger on a visit to Australia three years ago, said he was not involved in organised crime and did not have any debts.
He said that while his life would never be the same he was "blessed" to have survived the shooting.
"I had some angel watching me, that's for sure," he said.
Detective Inspector Stephen Clark from the Armed Crime Squad said the Director of Public Prosecutions could consider granting indemnification from prosecution to a person who provides information about the identity of the shooter or his accomplices.
He said police had not eliminated possible bikie links to the shooting, or that Mr Solomos was targeted because of his expanding gym business.
He would not comment about a suspicious device that was reportedly found under Mr Solomos' car in the weeks after the attack.
The shooting had not resulted in death or serious injury only because of "sheer good luck and the grace of god", Mr Clark said.
Last year, police said it did not appear to be a case of mistaken identity.
Investigators released CCTV footage of the car that fled the scene, a black Subaru Impreza wagon with stolen number plates.
Police have also released a digital facial composite of the driver, described as Caucasian, aged in his late 20s to early 30s with brown wavy hair.
