The City of Ballarat voted to support the Motor Industry and Events Hub on Wednesday night. The hub would be a centre for autocross, motocross, drag racing, go-karting, 4WD, khana cross, motorkhana, circuit racing and speedway.
The required land size to accommodate the project is between 240-300ha, with a probable cost estimated at $35-$50 million.
The hub’s backers will now look for a suitable site.
