She returned a reading of .221 being intercepted driving on Park Grove, Burnie.
The driver was traveling with a young child passenger on a busy main road in hazardous and wet weather conditions.
As a result of the intercept the driver was immediately disqualified from driving for an extended period of time and will face court at a later date.
