Matildas striker Michelle Heyman says the players will channel their nerves into brutal training sessions to ensure they have no regrets as they prepare for an anxious Olympic Games selection wait.

The Matildas will train in Canberra this week before finding out on Friday if they've made the cut for the Rio-bound squad to chase an Olympic gold medal.
It sets the stage for a emotional rollercoaster at the AIS and the players are on edge waiting for a tap on the shoulder with good news.
Heyman wants to get a tattoo of the Olympic rings if she's picked in the Australian squad, and has spoken to her tattoo artist about designs.
But it's all on hold until the team is finalised and the players step on to the field in Rio.
"We find out about the team two days before the flight [to Brazil next week] so it's a hard situation to wrap your head around," Heyman said.
"You don't know if you're going or you're staying at home. Sometimes you panic, but you've got to give it all you've got this week and hopefully you're in the team. It's a very strange feeling.
"I hope I've got a plane ticket, but you never know. It would mean everything to me, it's a dream I've always had and always wanted to do.
"Rio would probably be the first and last time for me, so it's a must for me and I'll put everything I've got on it."
Canberra United stars Heyman and Caitlin Munoz are in camp with the squad while W-League teammates Lydia Williams and Ashleigh Sykes are playing abroad and waiting for selection news.
The Matildas will play a warm-up game against Olympic hosts Brazil in Fortaleza on July 23 before finalising their preparations.
For Munoz, an Olympic berth would be a chance to finish her career on a high after her form lifted her back into Matildas contention.
Munoz made her international debut in 2005 but four knee reconstructions and multiple operations halted some of her best years on the field.
The 32-year-old is rated as an outside chance of snatching a spot in Alen Stajcic's 18-strong squad, but Munoz will chase her dream even with a glimmer of hope.
"To go to an Olympic Games in any capacity would top off the career I've had and if it doesn't happen, I'm still proud," Munoz said.
"You'd be silly not to be nervous now. I never thought I'd get back in so I'm happy with what I've done. The pain is there in my knees, but everyone has pain so I'll deal with it."
