Snow is forecast to fall tonight and early tomorrow down to 300m, making Ballarat (435m) a prime target to get a white dusting of snow.
If we wind the clock back to 2007, we can see there was heavy snowfall throughout the Ballarat region during this exact week.
And yep, the day snow fell on a Tuesday back then as well.

Obviously, just because it snowed nine years ago doesn’t mean it’s going to snow again.
After all, we got a little helping of snow last month but it was barely enough to settle on the ground.
But hey, a little nostalgia never hurt anybody!
If you spot snow around Ballarat today or tomorrow, we’d love to see your photos.
