The fourth-placed Vikings will take on the second-placed North United at Morshead Park and while seven points separate the two, they both sit on 11 wins for the season with North United skipping ahead courtesy of four extra draws.
The top-four has been secured for some time but the result of this clash could have strong ramifications on the make-up of the final four. Ballarat is one point behind ladder leader Warrnambool – who play last-placed Creswick. While Sebastopol is level on points with Victoria Park White.
In the open men’s division, Ballarat has an opportunity to leapfrog third-placed Warrnambool if it can produce a victory when it travels for the round 20 clash.
