The Eagles bounced back from their loss to Buninyong the week before with a 21-point success against a young and speedy Bulldogs outfit that tested them in the first half.
Gordon led by five points at both the quarter and half time breaks and split the game apart with a powerful third term.
As spearhead Steve Nicholson started to dominate, the Eagles capitalised on the stiff breeze advantage to open up a match-winning 37-point lead at the final change.
Daylesford didn’t give in and battled away in the last quarter, but could only close to within four kicks before the siren sounded on its 2016 campaign.
Nicholson kicked five goals to be arguably the most influential player on the ground, while the likes of Ben Peters and Josh Lee were good around the ball.
For Daylesford, the young brigade of Jordan Alexander, Max Risstrom and Joel Cowan were lively, with Patrick Rowe named best by the club.
Next weekend, Gordon’s battle with Springbank will be a replay of the 2015 grand final, which the Tigers won.
On Sunday, Hepburn sent Bungaree tumbling from the finals series with a 29-point semi-final victory at Daylesford.
The Burras’ upset success sets up a preliminary final against minor premiers Buninyong.
