Coach Gavin Webb admits that with no more second chances for Lakers they most likely have to play him even if he is not quite right
Pring (ankle) was selected to make his return from an ankle injury, which has sidelined him for half the season, against Bacchus Marsh in Saturday’s qualifying, but was a late withdrawal
Webb said Pring was a bit sore.
“If it had been a grand final he probably would have played.”
Tanner Robertson (ankle) also pulled out of the selected team, with Tanna Blackney-Noter and Eamonn McCluskey going into the line-up.
Lachlan Phyland (heel) was replaced by Tim Hughes in Bacchus Marsh’s selected side.
Liam Noonan is the Cobras’ main injury concern, having suffered shoulder damage on Saturday.
