Police and SES volunteers searched the Yarrowee Creek area for close to six hours in search of a 53-year-old missing man on Tuesday night.

Acting Inspector Neale Robinson said police and emergency services started the search just after 5pm when the man was reported missing.
The man was located at 11.42pm in Albert Street and was conveyed to hospital via ambulance.
“This was an excellent outcome,” Acting Inspector Robinson said.
In other news, police are investigating the cause of a vehicle fire that prompted a response from police and firefighters just after 2.30am this morning.
Acting Inspector Robinson said Ballarat detectives were investigating the cause of the fire that destroyed a Honda.
