Echo Taskforce executed five search warrants in Donvale, Pakenham, Officer Hallam and Dandenong South on Wednesday morning following the shooting of a man in Carrum Downs on October 1.
A 39-year-old Cranbourne man was taken to hospital after he was shot in the leg near an abattoir on Robinson Road.
He was taken to Dandenong Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A 29-year-old man from Donvale man, and a 27-year-old Officer man are assisting police with their enquiries.
A Pakenham man, 22, and Pakenham woman, 19, were arrested for drug offences unrelated to the shooting.
