A man has been charged and a Sebastopol teenager taken to hospital following a stabbing in Melbourne’s CBD early on Sunday morning.

The 19-year-old received a cut to his face during what police believe to have been an altercation between the pair outside a fast food outlet on Swanston Street at about 12.35am.
A 29-year-old of no fixed place of address was arrested shortly after near the Yarra River and has been charged with intentionally cause serious injury.
Police were unable to give further information on the 19-year-old’s condition.
Police are appealing for witnesses who may have filmed the incident on their phones to come forward.
