The newly-revamped ground, which played host to the Central Highlands Football League grand final in September, has been booked for the Rebels’ round two clash with Bendigo Pioneers on April 2.
This clash was revealed as part of Thursday’s release of the 2017 TAC Cup fixture.
The game at Alfredton has been locked in because works at the team’s home ground at Eureka Stadium are expected to still be underway.
North Ballarat is set to kick-start its campaign on Marsh 25 with an encounter against Geelong Falcons at Simonds Stadium and graces Eureka Stadium for the first time in round seven on May 14 against the Western Jets.
TAC Cup clubs will each play 18 home and away games in 2017 – one more than last season – before the top eight teams battle it out in a new three-week finals series.
This will see elimination finals (1v8, 2v7, 3v6, 4v5) before two preliminary finals determine who plays off in the decider.
