Watch out for Sean Lake (Victoria), who will be hoping to improve on his 2016 bronze medal, and Miles Scotson (SA), who is looking to make a ripple in the elite ranks after claiming the 2015 under-23 national title and bronze medal at the 2016 world championships.
The 2015 under-23 medallist Ben O'Connor (WA) steps up to the elite ranks hoping to make an impact.
ELITE WOMEN
The women's field is headlined by defending champion Katrin Garfoot (Queensland), who claimed bronze at October's world championships, while four-time champion Shara Gillow (Queensland) will be gunning for a fifth crown to equal Kathy Watt's record.
Rising star Alexandra Manly (SA) and NRS champion Lisen Hockings (Victoria) and Kate Perry (Victoria) will be looking to usurp the talented duo as well as individual pursuit world champion Rebecca Wiasak (ACT).
UNDER-23 MEN
Callum Scotson (SA) will be hoping to defend his national title following a successful year on the track with a world title and Olympic silver medal.
