The Art Gallery of Ballarat is running its Summer School Holiday program until January 25 for young people aged 5 to 15.
A range of workshops is being held each weekday, including screenprinting, crafting with leather, portrait drawing, creating fantasy creatures and more.
Art educator Chris Ellis, who has been leading workshops in “spaghetti sculpture” with clay to create 3D forms, said learning about art was great for young people’s brains and their creativity.
“It’s good for imagination and they can express themselves as well,” she said.
Places are still available in each session. To book, visit www.artgalleryofballarat.com.au or phone 5320 5858.
