Some 46 teams comprising 184 bowlers contested the annual Heartbeat tournament hosted by the Ballarat and City Oval clubs to raise $3570
This is the 30th year of the event and almost $90,000 has been contributed to Heartbeat, which supports heart patients and their carers.
Norm Donohue was Ballarat Regional Bowls Association president when the tournament started and was on hand this year to present the prizes at the Ballarat rinks.
Beaufort champion Keith Topp skippered the winning rink at Ballarat. Cameron Bryce, Lynette Bryce, and Judy and David Lindsay (BHS) won at City Oval.
