The 11-year-old is the talk of the club after two brilliant mornings in the Ballarat Cricket Association 13/under Hollioake competition.
Richardson took back-to-back hat-tricks in games against Creswick Imperials and VRI Delacombe on his way to joint figures of 10-4 from the last two weekends.
The Buninyong Primary School student snared 6-0 in the clash with the Imperials, before finishing with 4-4 against VRI last Saturday.
Richardson’s heroics helped the Pointies record victory against Creswick, but hasn’t been able to lift the team to a commanding position after day one of the two-day battle with VRI.
The home side made 8-125 from its 25 overs last Saturday, with Golden Point reaching 5-87 in reply.
Elaine’s Luke Inglis also recently took a hat-trick in the under-14 firsts division.
