Police are searching for up to six burglars who stormed a Bendigo house armed with crowbars and a Taser late on Friday night.

Two men in the house at the time were assaulted, police said - one cracked on the head with a steel bar.
The burglars - all men - crashed through the unlocked front door just after 10 o'clock at the house in Laurie Court in Bendigo's north.
A 20-year-old man in the house confronted the men and was assaulted, police said.
Another man, 42, also at the house at the time, emerged from a bedroom after hearing shouting and was struck in the head.
The older man then managed to chase the burglars onto the street.
A 44-year-old woman was also home at the time but was not hurt.
The two victims had to be taken to local Bendigo hospital for treatment.
