Each found themselves on the wrong side of the ledger on the road at the weekend.
Rush lost to reigning women’s champion Melbourne Tigers 76-59, while Corio Bay defeated the Miners 96-62 in youth men’s division two.
The Miners are sixth with one win in two outings.
Rush is seventh in its conference as it seeks to break a run of three defeats to open the season.
