Weir equalled his previous mark of 348, set last season, with hurdler Try Four in the opening event on the third day of the Warrnambool May Carnival.
Three races later Weir broke the record with mare Stylish Miss.
And it did not stop there.
He went on to win with Craven Image, Nikitas and then High Church in the listed $200,000 Warrnambool Cup, 2350m, to give him an unprecedented 14 victories for the carnival.
He started with four on Tuesday and followed up with five on Wednesday and five on Thursday.
Weir set the Commonwealth record for the first time in the closing days of last season.
However, this time he has almost another three months until the end of the season – making 400 wins a real possibility for his training empire which he bases between stables at Ballarat and Warrnambool.
High Church ($2.40 favourite) gave Weir a fourth-straight Warrnambool Cup after the successes of Akzar (2014), Tall Ship (2015) and Master Of Arts last year.
Of the five feature races over the three days, Weir collected three of them with, Renew in the Galleywood Hurdle and Ulmann in the Wangoom Handicap joining the party.
Weir stable jockey John Allen, who mixes jumps and flat riding, also enjoyed an outstanding carnival.
The 32-year-old Irishman established his own Warrnambool record, riding seven winners.
Four were over the jumps, including the Weir-trained Renew in the Galleywood Hurdle and Ciaron Maher-trained Regina Coeli to her second Grand Annual Steeplechase on Thursday.
