The ghoulish themes came be explored through tours that explore the darker side of the city’s past.
Craig’s Royal Hotel’s bluestone cellar will host a traditional Victorian séance, using archives, stories and tricks of the trade, as a medium attempts to contact the dead and raise the spirit of Ned Kelly
It will run each hour from 11am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday. People older than 12 can attend and tickets cost $10.
The Begonia Princess paddleboat will take mystery tours of Lake Wendouree.to explore the sad stories of drownings, deaths and murders in its murky waters.
Bookings are essential for the tour departing from View Point mooring at 4.30pm and 5.30pm Saturday. Tickets cost $35.
