Nolan is a premiership player with Ballan and is expected to boost the Roosters batting stocks. He averaged 59.5 runs in the second grade last season and is no stranger to big scores – knocks of 157, 109 and 100* attest to that. Nolan said he decided to make the move to challenge himself at a higher level.
”Just a change and a step-up in league, try and challenge myself a bit more,” Nolan said.
The talented batsmen said he has played his best cricket as an opener, but was happy to fit into the batting line-up where needed.
Nolan was excited by North Ballarat’s prospects for this year following an active recruiting season.
“They have recruited well...I think it’s going to be a good season.”
