Adam Scott has bolstered the field of the Australian PGA Championship on the Gold Coast, joining fellow Masters winner Sergio Garcia to see out the summer of golf at Royal Pines from November 30.

Garcia, the defending Masters champion, was revealed as a marquee signature last month and will now be able to discuss all things Green Jacket with Scott, who famously broke the Australian drought at Augusta in 2013.
Tournament organisers had hoped to jag another Queenslander, Jason Day, but he will play his only Australian tournament of the year at the Australian Open in Sydney the prior week.
But Scott is a Gold Coast local and one of the regular major drawcards at the tournament. He will tee up again in search of his second Joe Kirkwood Cup.
The world No.18 missed the cut at the FedEx Cup play-offs in Boston although he had an excuse. He was a late inclusion after the early arrival of his second baby with wife Marie allowed him to compete.
"Competing in the Australian PGA Championship on the Gold Coast in front of a home crowd is always such a highlight for me," Scott said.
"I really appreciate the local support and I am hoping that this year I can add my name to the Joe Kirkwood Cup for a second time.
"It's great to see Sergio in the field for this year's event and I am sure he and his family will enjoy all that the Gold Coast has to offer while they are in town."
Scott has yet to decide whether he will play in Sydney before returning home to the Gold Coast. If he played at the Open, he would join Day and world No.2 Jordan Spieth at The Australian Golf Club.
Garcia, the world No.7, will be playing in Australia for the first time in seven years.
"I am privileged to have [the Masters] green jacket and have enjoyed wearing it at other sporting events throughout the year," Garcia said.
"I will definitely be bringing the Green Jacket with me to the Gold Coast."
