Students learned what employers look for in a day-long careers seminar at Ballarat Christian College.

The whole school explored potential future careers – with senior classes getting advice from employment experts and all students encouraged to dress in the outfits or uniforms of the future careers they would like to pursue.

Guest presenters from the different arms of the Australian Defence Force, Regent Cinemas, FIKA coffee baristas, Ballarat Christian Fellowship and the Australian Catholic University and Federation University all attended to give students an insight on what it takes Popular take part with all students

The college’s VCAL students organised the What Employers Want Careers Seminar for middle and senior school students with seminars and activities held all day.

Career journeys, industries and what employers want when they are hiring new employees all came under the microscope to prepare students for life in the workforce.
