The restaurant received a prestigious “chef’s hat” for the third year in a row at the Good Food Guide Awards in Sydney on Monday night.
Opened in September 2013, the restaurant is owned by head chef Damien Jones and his wife Danielle.
Daylesford eateries have again been richly lauded, with fine dining institution Lake House receiving two chef’s hats and Japanese-European fusion restaurant Kazuki’s receiving one.
A total of 297 restaurants across Australia scored a minimum of 15 out of 20 in the Good Food Guide 2018, resulting in being awarded one or more hats.
Victorian restaurant Attica took out top honours as the the Vittoria Restaurant of the Year, with Attica chef Kylie Millar taking home the Josephine Pignolet Young Chef of the Year award.
Only six restaurants across the country received three chef’s hats: Attica, Brae and Minamishima in Victoria, Quay and Sepia in New South Wales, and Urbane in Queensland.
