Detectives have charged a Delacombe man, 33, more than seven months after a collision that killed a cyclist in northeast Victoria.
The crash occurred between a car and the cyclist, 66, on Benalla-Yarrawonga Road in Devenish near Benalla about 4.30pm on March 23.
The male cyclist died at the scene.
The driver of the car stopped to assist the injured man and spoke with police.
Police said on Thursday night the Delacombe resident had been charged with dangerous driving causing death.
He has been bailed to appear at Wangaratta Magistrates' Court on February 15.
