Pleasant Street Primary School is holding its annual Christmas Fest by the Lake.
The festival includes more than 100 market stalls, food vendors, a beer and wine tent, children’s activities such as rides, rock climbing, laser fun and a petting zoo, showbags, and Santa Land with a special appearance from Santa himself.
Meanwhile, entertainment runs all night, including guests from the Jesus Christ Superstar production and the school choir.
Assistant principal Kaye Bennett said the huge event brought the community together.
“The fundraising committee has been absolutely amazing,” she said. “The parents have done so much work in preparation and they help with the setting up and packing up.”
The festival kicks off at the primary school on Friday, December 1, from 5-9pm.
Entry fee is a donation, which will go towards the school’s programs and facilities.
Parking is available at the City Oval, while the Gold Bus will provide free transportation for people parking at Victoria Park.
