They four girls spread out their towels on one of the Lake Wendouree jetties and enjoyed a chilled-out afternoon by the water.
The warm weather enticed families outdoors, in to parks and offered local markets a sunny pre-Christmas boost as shoppers headed top retail outlets of all sorts to finish their shopping.
Lakeside could prove to be a cool place to be in the coming days with the mercury steadily climbing to a forecast 35C on Monday and 32C on Tuesday.
