Police allege three women and one man forced entry into the premises on Howitt Street about 2.20pm on Monday.
The home’s occupant, a woman in her 30s, was injured in an altercation before the alleged offenders fled on foot.
Police were dispatched shortly afterwards and found the group of four nearby before arresting them.
The alleged offenders, aged in their 20s and 30s, were charged with serious burglary, assault and weapons offences.
All were remanded in custody to appear in court at a later date.
It’s believed the parties were known to each other before the incident.
