Students enjoyed entertainment, food trucks, music and free food at the main orientation event at Federation University’s Mt Helen campus on Wednesday.
Over 1400 new students will begin university study at Federation University’s Ballarat campuses later this month.
Federation University deputy vice-chancellor Darren Holland said a wide range of information sessions and activities for students were available this week, including getting to know the university’s clubs and societies.
“Orientation is always an exciting time… This is a great time to explore the university and make new friends,” he said.
A wine and cheese tasting session will be held at the Mt Helen Campus on Thursday after a free barbecue lunch.
More than 300 students will begin their studies at ACU Ballarat later this month, and many joined orientation activities this week.
