She continued on her rampaging way by taking out eight Vicbred Super Series age pacing semi-finals at Melton on Friday night.
Her performance equals the Australian all-time record for the most wins by a trainer at one meeting.
Shane Cramp had been the only previous winner of eight races when he swept a full programs at Mildura in 2015.
Stewart’s previous best was seven, set on Vicbred Super Series three heats’ night at Kilmore on June 20 this year
Stewart’s team of 28 starters began the record run at Melton by producing winners in the opening four races on the 12-event card.
She had six wins after seven races and then took her tally to eight in the 10th and 11th events.
Stewart looked set to make it nine with short-priced 3yo filly Nostra Villa in the last race, but was denied right on the line by Soho Burning Love ($10) from the Burrumbeet stable of Michael Stanley.
Stewart has dominated the Vicbred Super Series this year with five wins in 2yo heats, seven in 3yo heats and four in 4yo heats.
She now takes another big team back to Melton next Saturday night for group 1 VSS finals across each of the three age groups.
