NORTH Ballarat Rebels duo Brad Crouch and Nick O’Brien have been named in the TAC Cup under-18 team of the year.An All-Australian under-18 player, Crouch was selected on a half back flank. A broken leg suffered while playing with Vic Country in the national championships kept Crouch to a handful of games with the Rebels this year.Crouch averaged third in most effective kicks and was ranked second for hard ball gets.O’Brien was the given the job at centre half forward.He also represented Vic Country, as well playing a couple of VFL senior matches with North Ballarat, including the Roosters’ loss to Northern Bullants in a semi-final on Sunday.Alex Benbow from Dandenong Stingrays won the Morrish Medal, collecting 22 votes.
