ILLABAROOK and Gordon remain the only clubs without coaches in the Central Highlands Football League.Of the 18 clubs, 16 will either have their coaches continuing on from this year or have brought new coaches into the fold.Rob Fuller, who resurrected Gordon and took the team to finals this year, will not continue in 2012 and the club is still a number of weeks from appointing his replacement.“We’re still working through the process and are probably a couple of weeks off,” said president Mick Torpy.Illabarook’s Clinton Aspland has also stepped aside and newly appointed football director James Boag said the coaching race was down to two people.However, the majority of clubs have settled on their coaches and are already focusing on pre-season preparations.Waubra premiership coach Shane Skontra has vowed to coach for one final year, keen to get back-to-back premierships.He said it was a big commitment and after two stints at the club, the end of 2012 would be the right time to step down.“I always wanted to coach one more year and if the motivation is there to do it again, then why not?” he said.Who should coach Illabrook and Gordon? Have your say belowAt Rokewood-Corindhap, former captain and assistant coach Jason Hutchins has been promoted to the senior coaching role.He is a past best and fairest winner at the club and was an assistant coach this year.At Cargnham-Linton, two non-playing coaches have been appointed.Justin Porter, coach of the 2008 premiership team at Carngham Linton and another former coach in Darren Quilliam will lead the charge next year.President Dave Linane said both men were popular at the club and had a wealth of football knowledge behind them.Andrew Button has put pen to paper at Daylesford and Dunnstown is hopeful of retaining Paul Jennings.Beaufort is looking to adopt the co-coaches option and is searching for a suitable to assistant to Nick Franc, who will remain at the club.The remainder of the clubs had already confirmed their coach.Next year will be the second year of the new-look CHFL, which was revamped last season with the inclusion of four former Lexton Plains Football League clubs.CHFL coaches for 2010
