Up to 13 public buildings and vacant lots could be axed as part of a Ballarat City Council plan to sell under-used land.

The list of land includes the Kohinoor Community Centre, which central Ballarat residents want to remain open.
The former Mount Pleasant Kindergarten was also on the list.
The thirteen items were deemed by council staff to be surplus to requirements.
Most of the lots are empty blocks of land on Ballarat’s fringe or outside its suburban edge.
