GORDON farmer Nick Carey has been selected for the next season of The Farmer Wants a Wife.The 26-year-old third-generation sheep and potato farmer hopes to meet the girl of his dreams on the Channel Nine reality television show.On the show's website Mr Carey, a former St Patrick's College student, describes himself as "funny, loyal and always seeking adventure" and "generally the life of the party".But he said he was ready to settle down with someone special."It has finally dawned on me that I do want to find that special someone. If lucky enough in finding that special someone, I would have no hesitation in walking down the aisle with her!" Mr Carey said.Mr Carey is from a large family of two older brothers and three younger sisters.He said he prides himself on keeping his farm beautiful."As a third-generation farmer, I was born on the land, raised on the land and I have lived my entire life on the land," Mr Carey said.The farmer has impressed girls who have viewed his online profile."You seem very down to earth and honest bloke, you know what you want which I like," writes Karrot of East Gippsland.
