Edwards best as Victoria Major claims Australia Country Football title

REDAN'S Jarrod Edwards spearheaded Victorian Major to the Australian Country Football Championship in Canberra yesterday.Edwards was judged best on the ground as Victoria defeated South Australian by 85 points in the grand final.Vic Major took the match away from SA early, with six goals in the opening term and another five before half-time.This gave the favourite a 36-point buffer.The further the match went, the more dominant Victoria was.Vic Major featured four Ballarat Football league representatives, with Isaac Smith (redan), Daniel Weymouth (Lake Wendouree) and Will McGregor (Ballarat) joining Edwards.
