Twenty-one-year-old Brayden Dorney took out the competition last year with his black self-striped suit, light pink tie and matching handkerchief and leather shoes. Mr Dorney said it only took 30 minutes to put together his winning outfit, but this year a little more thought has gone into his attire.
"I'll be donning an aqua suit at the cup on Sunday," he said.
This year, a $1000 gift voucher from Stockland Wendouree will go to the winner of The Courier's Ballarat Cup 100 Best Dressed.
Racegoers are asked to keep an eye out for The Courier photographer during Sunday's meeting and have their picture taken for the competition.
On Tuesday, November 27, the 100 best dressed racegoers will feature in The Courier and then voters can go place their vote online. Each time you register a vote you will be placed in the draw to win a $500 voucher from Stockland Wendouree. The winners will be announced on Wednesday, December 5.
