This generosity has ensured that hundreds of local families and individuals will be able to share in the spirit of Christmas this year.
Our annual Christmas Appeal was again wonderfully supported by the staff and customers of Toy World Wendouree, Curves Ballarat and Tanya Daniel – The Good Guys.
Every year we are touched by their enthusiasm and readiness to help those in need.
The ongoing support of these Ballarat businesses is an exceptional demonstration of community values and heartening to see.
We are also grateful for the support from United Way, Caledonian Primary School, Caledonian Craft market, Mount Clear College, Black Hill Primary School, The Courier Social Club, Mars and Midvale Meats.
I would also like to commend staff and clients of Central Chiropractic who generously supported Centacare through their Annual Giving Day.
The Linton Ladies Quilting Group donated a wonderful array of beautiful quilts to be enjoyed by many of our clients.
To have something made with such care and kindness is a gift that will be treasured for many years.
We are also appreciative of all those who bought and sold tickets in our quilt raffle which allowed us to raise additional fund to assist our Homelessness Support Services.
Kingprint Ballarat has been a long-time supporter of Centacare and this year graciously promoted Centacare Christmas cards as an option to their clients.
By helping raise awareness about Centacare and the work that we do, our ability to help those in need is greatly enhanced.
Thank you to everyone who purchased these cards and helped to share our message.
Centacare Employment would like to acknowledge the network of employers, trainers, businesses who have generously worked with us in the establishment of long term employment for our clients.
Centacare Ballarat works to provide support and opportunity for the vulnerable members of our community.
The exceptional demonstrations of generosity and compassion by the staff and clients of the organisations listed above are a wonderful example of the good in our society.
I extend my gratitude to each and every person who supported Centacare this Christmas. May you all enjoy a wonderful Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year.
