The January 1 meet is the sole race day at the course and gaining popularity as a fun, family way to welcome the New Year.
Burrumbeet Cup spokesman Colin Holloway said all the marquees, umbrellas, bars and special amenities were hired in just for this one day.
A merry-go-round, animal petting enclosure, pony rides, jumping castle and face painting proved popular with junior racegoers.
Little Athletics sprinters raced up the straight in the annual Dash for Cash battle.
Mr Holloway said Burrumbeet marketed its Cup at families and as a non-boozy start to the new year.
