Standing at 201cm, power forward Ken Horton, 24, joins fellow American newcomers Roy Booker on the Ballarat Holden Miners roster.
Booker was signed late last year.
Horton is a Central Connecticut State University graduate who has spent two years playing professionally in Cyprus and Mexico.
He finished his college career in 2012, when he averaged 19 points, nine rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block a game.
He was also NCAA North East Conference player of the year.
Horton told Basketball Ballarat that he would bring a hunger to win along with scoring and rebounding power.
“I also love to get my teammates involved,” Horton said.
“When everybody has a part in winning a game or doing something good, it helps to form a strong chemistry and a team bond.
“That’s important.
“I can’t wait to show the city what I can bring to the team.”
Horton is scheduled to arrive in Ballarat next month.
Booker’s professional experience spans the US, France, Israel, Austria and Syria.
Horton and Book join young Australian tall Liam Gibcus as new signings.
Gibcus is originally from Melbourne, but has been studying and developing his basketball career at the University of Alaska Anchorage.
