Carman Mapatuna led the way with both bat and ball as Napoleons-Sebastopol cruised to an emphatic win over Golden Point.
The Sri Lankan import scored 99 to help Naps-Sebas to 9-219 before snaring 3-9 as the Pointies were rolled for just 95.
Matt Ringin also returned to the Naps-Sebas side with a bang, taking 3-15 from his nine overs.
The win has helped the back-to-back grand finalists climb back inside the top four.
BROWN HILL 7-117 d WENDOUREE 116
at Western Oval
The Bulls consolidated their place in second spot on the ladder with a three-wicket win against Wendouree.
Brown Hill did the damage with the ball, dismissing the Red Caps for 116 in 37 overs with Jason Knowles (3-28), Matt McMahon (2-13), Shane Harwood (2-15) and Ryan Knowles (2-23) all playing their part.
The run chase wasn't overly convincing, but the home team eventually got there thanks to Tim Knowles' 27 and Travis Whittle's unbeaten 20.
Eamon Johnson took 4-28 and Anthony Beacham 3-17 for the Red Caps.
BALLARAT-REDAN 128 lost to NORTH BALLARAT 7-145
at City Oval
North Ballarat clinched a vital win for its finals chances, beating Ballarat-Redan by 17 runs to climb back into the top four.
The Roosters posted a competitive 7-145 batting first, with captain Bobby Hind again leading the way with 56 and Jakob Tidyman chipping in with 42 opening the batting.
Ballarat-Redan started its run chase strongly thanks to 49 from opener Anthony Taylor, but lost regular wickets in pursuit of the total, eventually bowled out for 128.
Travis Meade was the main culprit with the ball for the visitors, taking 4-18, while Chris Egan had a good day for the Two Swords, snaring 4-24.
EAST BALLARAT 114 lost to DARLEY 139
at East Secondary College
A half-century from captain Matt Cape led the way as Darley accounted for East Ballarat.
After being sent in to bat, Darley reached 139 before it was bowled out, with Cape top scoring with 65. Ben Longhurst also added 27 opening the batting.
Lions medium pacer Clint Salisbury then helped dismiss the Hawks about 26 runs shy of the target with figures of 4-14.
Young Darley wicket-keeper Zac Ticehurst also had a good day with the gloves, taking four catches for the victors.
CORONET CITY 30 lost to MT CLEAR 0-31
at Ballarat High School
Ladder-leaders Mt Clear took less than two hours to complete a demolition job on Coronet City.
Quick Ash Gunn starred with 6-18 as the Mounties rolled City for 30 inside the opening hour of the day.
Openers Les Sandwith (seven) and Shaun Coffey (11) then passed the score without the loss of a wicket.
