Expect the cloud cover experienced this morning to clear throughout the day giving residents a mostly sunny day and top of 23 degrees.
Looking ahead to the weekend, we are in for even better weather. A top of 30 degrees is forecast for Sunday without a cloud in sight.
POLICE
Police from Ararat have charged two men with a variety of counterfeiting charges after officers stopped an allegedly stolen car on the Western Highway just outside the town around 5.30am on Wednesday.
A 25-year-old Blackburn man and a 30-year-old Kings Meadows man were arrested after the car was searched.
Police allege that during the search a quantity of counterfeit notes and printing equipment was found.
Both men were charged with theft of motor vehicle, make counterfeit note, possess counterfeit note and possess instrument for making counterfeit note.
They appeared at the Horsham Magistrates’ Court today and were remanded to appear in April.
FIRE
It was a busy night for fire crews , however, they didn't battle any fires.
Crews attended five false alarms throughout the evening with the first beginning at 7:30pm and the last at 6am.
