Kenya’s world 800m champion Eunice Sum (2:01.20), New South Wales’ young gun Georgia Wassall (2:01.78) and New Zealander Angie Smith (2:02.01) each finished inside the Commonwealth Games B-standard time of 2:02.10.
Kajan clocked a time of 2:04.09. Ballarat hurdler Kate Ryan set the pace for the 800m.
Former Ballarat athlete Victoria Mitchell was eighth in the women’s 5000m with a time of 15:49.14.
Sydney was the second leg of the Australian Athletics Tour, which moves to Albert Park for the IAAF Melbourne World Challenge this Saturday.
