Ex-England captain Andrew Strauss will be a
a special guest for an Emmaus Primary School
fundraiser tonight
Strauss played 100 Test matches and scored more than 7000 runs.
Colourful Australian cricket commentator Kerry O’Keeffe will share his humor at the Eastern Oval tonight.
He is guest speaker at an East Point Football Club and Victorian Bowling Club fund-raiser.
O’Keeffe retired as a commentator with ABC radio at the end of this year's Ashes Test Series.
GILLETT RIDES INTO TOP 10
RHYS Gillett has ridden his way into the top 10 after two stages in the Tour de Perth.
He is 10th – 49 seconds behind tour leader Tim Roe.
Gillett from Ballarat filled the same position in yesterday’s 116km road race.
He was part of a significant breakaway, which allowed him to win one intermediate sprint to be sixth in the spring classification.
He is also second in the hill climb classification.
The tour also features the Ballarat duo of Pat Shaw and teenager Liam White.
