And founder Erin Carman hopes to aid many more, particularly with its upcoming April Cots for Tots campaign.
''I hoped there would be a generous network of people in Ballarat who felt the same way I did and the response has been huge," Ms Carman said.
Eureka Mums was launched to ensure no Ballarat child goes without basic material needs, by collecting new and pre-loved cots, prams, car seats, clothes and other nursery essentials for distribution through welfare agencies and maternal and child health nurses.
Ms Carman began the not-for-profit, volunteer run program after reading an article about St Kilda Mums, which has been operating for nearly five years.
''I was looking for a way to donate things my children no longer needed and I wanted to ensure the items went to people who genuinely needed a helping hand.''
