A busy night on Ballarat's streets kept police busy overnight.
Sergeant Bob Anderson said there were a few people cautioned for being drunk, adding that one man was locked up for being drunk.
''It was noted that it was a busy night on the streets,'' Sergeant Anderson said.
''But that's not uncommon for a Saturday night.''

Fire crews reported a quiet night in Ballarat.

While the temperature is expected to reach a maximum of 25 degrees today, thunderstorms and rain are expected this morning and this afternoon.
The next two days predicted to bring lots of sunshine with high temperatures of 28 degrees expected for both Monday and Tuesday.
