Henderson, the runner-up in last year’s The Voice and a contestant in X Factor several years ago, was performing his sold-out concert at the Regent Cinemas, but took time from his busy schedule to sign autographs for adoring fans before the show.
Waiting in line to meet the singer, Keesh Phillips, 13, said she was excited and nervous at the same time.
“I just love him so much,” she said.
Kimberly Veenstra and her daughter, Shae, travelled from Colac to attend the concert, admitting they shared a similar taste in music.
Shae said she had been following Henderson’s career since his days as a contestant on X Factor while her mum was drawn to his down-to-earth voice.
“He’s a down-to-earth guy and that’s the attraction,” Ms Veenstra said.
Zara Kinnane, 3, was also there with her mum, Tanya Kinnane, attending their first concert together.
“She knows all the songs,” Ms Kinnane said.
