Nikkita Alexander, Emma Lynch, Hayley Smith, Amy McDonald, Nickesha Jones and Letisha Maraltadj are part of a 27-strong contingent selected to play AFL National Youth Girls Championships in Canberra on May 4-9.
Alexander, Lynch, Smith and McDonald are also among 13 players from the North Ballarat Rebels youth girls’ football academy, which has 13 representatives in the squad.
The academy draws on players from across the state.
Selectors finalised the squad after the statewide Subway Shield.
Vic Country finished fourth in last year’s national carnival – the first time Victoria had been divided into country and metropolitan teams.
