Ballarat, Warrnambool and Forest Rangers outfits won their matches by a collective total of 19 goals in a clear pattern of dominance.
Isaac Harbour and Luke Swards did most of the damage for Ballarat, with the two combining for five goals on Saturday, while their North United counterparts kicked just one goal courtesy of Timothy Beggs.
The undefeated winners now sit well and truly on top of the ladder, five points clear of a strong Warrnambool outfit
that defeated Vic Park 8-1 on Sunday.
Martin Van Rooy continued his rich vein of form with three goals.
The final match of the round saw Forest Rangers outclass Castlemaine 5-0.
The overall result was overshadowed by the freak goal that Ranger Daniel Cook struck from inside the centre circle.
Meanwhile the women’s division was a similar affair, with Warrnambool and Sebastopol Yellow both recording massive wins over Sebastopol Blue and Vic Park respectively.
Leading goalkicker Jess Steicke added goals to take her season to 13 in Yellow’s 8-0 victory.
North United Black had a tough match against NU White, eventually prevailing 3-1.
